Calling all Middle School Hawkeyes!
Christmas break is coming, and to help count down the days, Santa has a challenge for you! Your job, should you choose to accept it, is to solve a series of Christmas puzzles and challenges, and in the end, find the key to the treasure chest in the office.
THE PRIZE? Candy and Donut Party for your homeroom or advisory class
YOUR TIMELINE? 11/27/23 to 12/22/23
All students of Hamilton Middle School are eligible to participate as an individual, a team, or a homeroom team. Your team must all be in the same homeroom or advisory to win the donut party.
DETAILS:
If you are a part of a team, any member of your team can submit answers for your team to win.
You may work at school or from home using the website. You are REQUIRED to solve the puzzles and riddles for EACH CHALLENGE to earn the reward at the end.
Use your resources!
This means: Do research. Collaborate. Problem-solve. Adults can ask guiding questions to help you (without doing it FOR you). You may use the Internet for research. There are other resources as well that you may use. Be wise and outsmart your peers to win!
You may NOT use resources to cheat in any way. This means that behavior including (but not limited to) attempts to hack websites or steal work from other students will not be allowed, and will cause a student to be ineligible for the prize. You may NOT have someone else tell you answers.
The winner(s) will be required to demonstrate that they did indeed complete EVERY CHALLENGE to have access to the chest in their homeroom.
There are teachers who are Santa's helpers. They will only reveal their secrets to those who are secretive and discreet!
If you find the final key, you may only open the chest with your homeroom teacher present.
